Pyrotex HLC keeps your processes running, and allows for increased uptime and productivity by eliminating the need to disconnect lines in order to resleeve. Bundle multiple lines together with Pyrotex HLC to provide simultaneous protection with one sleeve and to route hoses, wires, and cables away from hazards.

Atlantex Manufacturing recommends these three important steps when installing Pyrotex Firesleeve HLC.
Step 1:
When installing Pyrotex HLC, be sure to position the HLC strip and seam AWAY from system hazards- molten splash, direct flame, fluid impingement.
Step 2:
If Pyrotex HLC is to be used in an outdoor application, be sure to position the HLC strip at “3 o’clock” or “9 o’clock”, with the open end of the HLC facing DOWN. This will allow water to run down the side of the sleeve with minimal absorption and wicking into the sleeve interior.
Step 3:
Atlantex Mfg. also recommends the use of Pyrotex SA Tape to terminate the Pyrotex firesleeve ends. Pyrotex SA Tape is a self-fusing silicone tape that creates a waterproof barrier, to prevent fluid wicking, glass fiber escape, and thermal transfer. A few wraps of Pyrotex SA Tape will also help to hold the Hook & Loop Closure secure in the event of tugging, rubbing, or abrasion around the seam.
