Pyrotex Rope & Tape

Atlantex manufactures a variety of standard ropes and tapes for high heat and thermal process applications; we also will design products for our customers' specific needs and requirements.

Ropes are manufactured using a fiberglass knit braid process that produces a highly flexible, extremely strong and resilient product, ideal for high temperature environments.

Pyrotex Rope & Tape are manufactured from high bulk fiberglass yarn which is designed for high temperature process applications.

Construction

Ropes are knit-braided fiberglass in standard and high density construction, with custom densities available for specific application requirements

Availability

Size range is 1/4" to 2" diameters in standard and high density

Properties

• Continuous operation to 1000 degrees F. Softens at 1350 - 1611 degrees F.
• Continuous texturized fiber construction
• Will not burn
• Resists most acids and alkalis
• Unaffected by most bleaches and solvents
• Unlimited shelf life

Tape

Knit and woven fiberglass in 1/16" and 1/8" thickness in widths from 1/2" to 6" lay flat dimensions.

Exhibits the same properties and benefits as rope constructions.
